easyDec and PoliTrempe join the Acrotec Group

Acrotec is strengthening its cutting-edge watchmaking expertise with the arrival of two new Jura-based companies: easyDec SA and PoliTrempe SA. The first of them will join Acrotec’s new watchmaking microturning division, along with three other Group member companies.

The Acrotec Group’s federation of companies is expanding with the arrival of two Jura companies: easyDec and PoliTrempe. EasyDec, which has been based in Delémont (Jura) since 2004, is known for its expertise in turning for the watchmaking industry.  It is also known for producing microcomponents for medtech and electronics.

“We wanted to join Acrotec because we were attracted by the dynamics of the group: a team where individualities are respected, where each person can retain his or her identity while benefiting from the collective strength of the whole,” says Didier Rebetez, CEO, easyDec.

This collective synergy immediately took shape for easyDec with the launch of the new Acrotec watchmaking microturning centre, alongside KIF Parechoc, mu-DEC and WatchDec. This initiative was a natural development to meet the most specific needs of high-precision screw machining for watch manufacturers.

KIF Parechoc, mu-DEC, WatchDec, and the latest addition, easyDec, are known for their expertise in high-precision screw machining in the watchmaking industry,” explains Cyrille Mathieu, who will be heading up this cluster. “Together, these four companies will now cover the entire range of micro-turning in the watchmaking industry, from the simplest to the most complicated services, in large or very small series, with the capacity to machine parts from 20 mm in diameter down to a few hundredths. This expertise also applies to the most complex microassemblies.”

Founded in 2008 and based in Courrendlin (Jura), PoliTrempe employs around 40 people. It specialises in the treatment and finishing of microcomponents in the high-end watchmaking sector. Its expertise is in heat treatment, polishing, burnishing, and electroplating. PoliTrempe is constantly innovating; the chemical deburring of carbon steels was implemented in January 2021.

We are very happy to join our neighbours in the Acrotec Group,” says Tiziana Farine, co-CEO of PoliTrempe. We will be able to increase our visibility on the market and take advantage of the Group’s innovative synergies to serve our customers better and continue to innovate with Acrotec’s entrepreneurial team spirit. This is a real bonus for our company and our region!”
