The Acrotec Group wins another award in the “Switzerland Best Managed Companies” program.

For the second year running, the jury of the “Best Managed Companies” program has recognised the management qualities of the Acrotec Group, emphasizing once again its strategic ability to combine organic growth with international acquisitions. This important distinction validates the choices made by Acrotec’s management team.

Recognized worldwide, the « Best Managed Company » program annually honors the best private companies in some 20 countries with annual sales of over 100 million Swiss francs, demonstrating management excellence and sustained growth. Companies are assessed on factors such as strategy, management quality, capabilities and innovation, culture, and commitment, as well as governance and finance.

Acrotec consolidated its position in these areas in 2022, with average growth of 25% in its Watch and Jewelry Division, and sales of CHF 256 million. The Medtech Division grew by 15%, passing the CHF 100 million mark for the first time in its history. A similar level of growth was recorded by the Precision High Tech Division, which posted sales of CHF 115 million. These two divisions also benefited from the acquisition of Axial Medical in the USA, Dawnlough and Takumi in Ireland, and Team-Metal in Singapore, enabling them to develop cross-selling opportunities in new geographical areas.

These results reflect a strong organic development strategy, reinforced by the purchase of financially sound companies, in line with Acrotec’s values.

The three business areas have been organized into three main divisions, each headed by a CEO who is closely involved in the development of their respective sectors.

Acrotec R&D also continues to innovate, with new projects and numerous patent registrations that benefit Group companies and customers in areas of high technological added value.

« Confirmation of this distinction for the second-year running is a real source of satisfaction and recognition of our choices and strategic resilience, enthuses François Billig, CEO of Groupe Acrotec. It also explains why some very fine companies in Asia, Europe and the United States have chosen to join us, and are now participating in this dynamic growth, which is taking place without ever overshadowing the human and unifying values representing the common foundation of the 30 companies in the Acrotec Group. »
